Description

This 70 minute program addresses current issues and trends around men's health in Australia including the disadvantage experienced by Indigenous men.

The program highlights preventative approaches to improving men's health and strategies to encourage men to access health services. It also discusses barriers to engaging men in their own health care, the importance of developing more appropriate communication processes and interventions, and increasing awareness of what constitutes culturally appropriate care for Indigenous Australian men.
