Description

This report brings together current, up-to-date information and advice as a resource for environmental health officers, other professionals, and the public who are seeking detailed guidance on the use and maintenance of rainwater tanks. Information is provided on the range of likely hazards that can threaten water quality, measures that can be used to prevent these hazards from contaminating rainwater, simple monitoring and maintenance procedures, and if necessary, corrective actions. In addition, information is provided on the design and installation of rainwater tanks.
