This brochure provides information about a study undertaken by the Indigenous Health Research Program at the Queensland Institute of Medical Research. The study sought to compare cancer treatment and cancer survival in Indigenous people with non-Indigenous people residing in Queensland. The brochure details the findings of the study which include the higher mortality rate for Indigenous people with cancer in comparison to non-Indigenous people.
The brochure was developed for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers and uses artwork and language that is culturally appropriate for this audience.
