Description

This article is aimed at General Practitioners and highlights information about pertussis (whooping cough). It explains how and when to test for pertussis and the best course of treatment to follow. Information is set out in a table format and shows recommended antimicrobial therapy and chemoprophylaxis regimens best suited for the age of the infected patient.
