Description

This resource package provides information for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers on how to help people with illicit drug problems. It includes a manual, a CDRom, leaflets, a video and a literature review.

The resource package was funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing as part of the National illicit drug strategy: training frontline workers initiative.

When to use this resource

This resource can be used as a self-directed 'learning package' for workers who need more information about working with people who have drug-related problems. Workers need the support of their organisation and access to supervision or 'on-the-job' support if they are using the package this way.
