Australian and New Zealand clinical practice guidelines for the treatment of anorexia nervosa (2004)

Description

This article provides a set of clinical practice guidelines relating to the eating disorder, anorexia nervosa. The guidelines provide information on assessment, management and treatment of the eating disorder. The application of the guidelines are for the general public and do not contain information specific to Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander populations.

When to use this resource

These guidelines are intended for use by health professionals and clinicians working with clients affected by anorexia nervosa which will assist them with diagnosis and treatment. The guidelines include a number of treatment programs both medical and psychological.
