Description

Bran nue leg is a 25 minute video developed to raise awareness of the increasing numbers of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth developing diabetes. It promotes living a healthy lifestyle to avoid the onset of diabetes.

The video was developed by a Perth podiatrist and a Broome entertainer, himself a diabetic amputee. They are now working on a companion piece for people already living with diabetes and will address in greater depth the issues touched on in this film.

Please note: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander viewers are advised this video may contain images of people who have passed away.
