Description

Aunty Mary's Story: a guide to vision loss is a booklet which aims to raise awareness about the free services and support offered by Guide Dogs NSW/ACT to assist people with vision loss. The booklet tells the story of Aboriginal Elder, Aunty Mary Hooker, a Bundjalung woman, who lost her vision due to diabetic retinopathy and sought assistance from Guide Dogs NSW/ACT to help her regain her independence.
