Description

This radio clip includes the Northern Territory Chief Minister, Adam Giles, discussing mandatory rehabilitation in the Northern Territory (NT) on the Central Australian Aboriginal Media Association (CAAMA) radio station. He states that the three month rehabilitation model has a voluntary and mandatory component. Those who are at risk of harming themselves or others due to their alcohol use will be placed in the program to have an opportunity to cease their alcohol intake and get back on track. The rehabilitation model is open to anyone living in the NT.
