Description

As part of the Eat for health campaign, the Eat for health Indigenous poster is a pictorial guide on eating healthy foods and making the right choices from the five food groups.

It aims to help Indigenous people identify the variety and types of foods they should be consuming each day and the foods that should be avoided or only consumed sometimes and in small amounts. It also highlights the importance of drinking water.

The Eat for health Indigenous poster was informed by the Food modelling system and Australian dietary guidelines and is designed for healthy Australians, including those with common health risks such as being overweight.

The Eat for health Indigenous poster is not designed for Indigenous people with a specific medical condition or the frail aged; they should seek specialised dietary advice.
