HITnet kiosk [12 audiovisual health messages] (2010)

Description

The HITnet kiosk is an online resource that seeks to raise awareness among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people about various health issues using videos, music, animations, games, and documentaries. The kiosk content is culturally appropriate, and includes content suitable for Elders, parents, children, and young people. Some of the topics covered include:

• sexual health
• social and emotional wellbeing
• nutrition
• rheumatic fever.

The kiosk is interactive and appropriate for people with low literacy. It provides an intuitive learning experience where the content is produced with the community, for the community.
