Fight the bite radio ad - Pitjantjatjara (2011)

Description

This 45-second radio message prompts listeners to protect themselves against the risk of mosquito-borne disease. The ad encourages members of the public to:

• wear long, light-coloured, loose clothing
• use flyscreens on windows and doors
• use insect repellent.

Versions of the ad are available in both English and Pitjantjatjara. Written transcripts of the ad are available in each language. Both ads can be freely downloaded in either .wav or .mp3 format.

The ads were produced as part of the South Australian Department of Health's 2011 Fight the bite: Cover up. Repel. Eliminate. campaign.
