Description

This guideline, produced by the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care, aims to achieve appropriate care for patients suffering from a transient ischemic attack and stroke by providing information on actions required across the continuum of care that spans pre-hospital, hospital and the community.

The guideline is split into three sections, pre-hospital care, hospital care and community care.

The guideline is intended for use by consumers, healthcare providers, healthcare organisations and other individuals and organisations to make improvements and reduce harm.
