Description

This resource package on parenting in Western Australia was written for and by Aboriginal people. The resources consist of 12 guides which cover the following topics:

• now you are a parent
• role models
• identity
• family togetherness
• families that work well
• step families
• grandparents
• storytelling
• coping skills for our kids
• kids grieve too
• support.

The guides were written for Aboriginal parents and families, and offer tips and contacts that may be of use.
