Description

The Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing, Wiltanendi, and the Aboriginal Health Council of South Australia (SA) contracted Inception Strategies to produce the social comic Friendz. This comic addresses peer group issues in the context of alcohol and cannabis use to an Indigenous audience.

Workshops to develop the script were held with Indigenous people at the Indigenous Sports Academy in SA. The comic uses Indigenous characters to tell its story, and provides examples and explanations of how alcohol and cannabis use can affect your physical health and social life, and lead to unsafe circumstances.
