This video shows how an unhealthy lifestyle can lead to diabetes through the animated character Alfie the tooth fairy who loves fast food and soft drinks. Alfie learns about diabetes and its complications and what actions to take to minimise his risks. Alfie then educates the other tooth fairies about the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle to avoid diabetes and its complications. This video uses sand animation to convey key messages about diabetes.
