Resource package
This resource package is used by the Kimberley Aboriginal Medical Services Council (KAMSC) ear health team to promote upcoming, community based, ear health checks in the region; and to convey the health message, 'healthy ears are happy ears' to those attending the checks. The resources were created locally and employ a character, Mr Happy Ears, to enforce their message. In addition to English, they communicate in the five languages used by Bidyadanga community members (Karajarri, Nyangumarta, Yulparija, Juwaliny and Mangala) and in Kukatja for Balgo community members.
