Comic
The Department of Health and Ageing and Boab Health Services engaged Inception Strategies to develop this comic on palliative care. The comic was produced as part of the National Indigenous palliative care project, and aims to assist Indigenous families and clients in both understanding what is meant by, and highlighting the importance of, advance care planning. Workshops to develop the comic script were held with Indigenous people in Broome, Western Australia.

The program objectives are to: create a sustainable and culturally safe palliative care service system that enables Indigenous people across South Australia to access palliative care services in the setting of their choice increase awareness of, and access to palliative care services develop long and lasting relationships between South Australian palliative care providers, Aboriginal community controlled health organisations and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in South Australia.
