This music video was produced to increase the awareness of trachoma among the Gurindji people in Kalkaringi and Daguragu, Northern Territory, and communicate the importance of good facial cleanliness in the prevention of the disease.
The video was created as a collaborative, week-long project between Indigenous Hip Hop Projects (IHHP) and the Gurindji people, in association with Katherine West Health Board Aboriginal Corporation. It additionally promotes community cohesion and wellbeing, and self expression through hip hop; a result of the support of IHHP by Beyondblue.
