Vic Aboriginal Child Care videos (2011)

Description

These four health promotion videos were written, acted, and filmed by Koorie students from Reservoir High in Melbourne, Victoria. A video has been produced for each of the following health issues:

• sexual health - this video encourages condom use among Indigenous adolescents to avoid outcomes such as unplanned pregnancies
• fitness - this video encourages Indigenous adolescents to become role models for their peers by being fit and healthy
• alcohol - this video highlights the risks associated with drink driving
• family violence - this video promotes the Kid's Helpline and encourages Indigenous adolescents with family issues to seek help and tell somebody.
