Description

This radio program provides information on the relationship between physical activity and mental health for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. In this program the benefits of physical activity for mental health is explained, and listeners are encouraged to undertake 30 minutes of physical activity each day to improve their emotional and mental wellbeing. The radio program runs for 59 seconds.

The information in this radio program provides a good introduction to the relationship between physical activity and mental health. It would be helpful information for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, particularly those who may be experiencing mental health problems. Health workers could let clients and their families know how to access the radio program or the program could be downloaded at health service sites for clients to access.
