Description

The Australian City Farms and Community Gardens Network has created a set of 10 fact sheets to help those who are thinking about setting up a community garden, or those who are already involved in a community garden.

The colourful and easy-to-read fact sheets cover topics ranging from ideas to consider before starting a community garden, to crop rotation, composting and managing pests.

The fact sheets are not available in hard copy but are free to download from the website.

These fact sheets can provide useful information to anyone thinking about starting up a community garden. They could be used as a starting point for discussion at a community meeting or a council meeting.
