The resources provide information on what whooping cough is, how it is contracted and who should be vaccinated, including grandparents and close family and friends who may be in regular contact with the baby.
Whooping cough (pertussis) vaccinations are available free for all Western Australian parents of newborn babies until 30 June 2011. The vaccines are available from maternity hospitals and community health immunisation centres.
