This two page factsheet was produced as a guide for the Indigenous media on the appropriate reporting of social and emotional wellbeing. It presents facts and statistics on mental illness in the Australian total population and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population. The factsheet also lists several issues to consider when reporting on mental illness and related issues, such as privacy, language, and stereotypes. The factsheet also contains contact information for support services.
