Description

The information presented in these guidelines aims to improve the delivery of waste management services for communities with less than 1,000 people. They are useful as an operational guide to be used on a daily basis as each remote community has its own needs and unique setting. These guidelines are intended to provide support to community managers and technical service operators so that waste management in small and remote communities is safe for staff, the community and the environment.
