Responding to challenging situations related to the use of psychostimulants: a practical guide for frontline workers provides useful information for a range of frontline workers, particularly those who do not have a professional or clinical background. Practical tips are provided for reducing the likelihood of challenging situations, responding during a crisis, and reviewing the management of a challenging situation. Considerations are also provided for specific service settings such as needle exchange programs, outreach services, and withdrawal programs.
