When to use this resource

This booklet is designed to be used to start a discussion about how kidneys work and about things that can affect a person's kideny health, such as diabetes and poor nutrition. The health worker should allow plenty of time for people to look at the pictures, and can use actions to illustrate the text. The booklet can be used when talking one-on-one or in group situations.
