Breast cancer: challenges after treatment (2009)

Description

This resource explores the challenges women encounter following breast cancer treatment. It seeks to provide users with answers to common questions regarding the challenges that present following treatment for breast cancer while also providing strategies to assist women in obtaining accurate information and accessing appropriate support. The program also discusses how health care professionals can assist women following the completion of breast cancer treatment. The program is hosted by Associate Professor John Boyages, Director of the Westmead Breast Cancer Institute and includes several guest presenters such as Associate Professor Judy Kirk, Director of the Familial Cancer Service. This program is available in two formats: a DVD and podcast.
