These guidelines provide information and advice on reclaimed water; water that comes from wastewater which is then treated to a quality appropriate for the intended use (e.g., potable, recreational, agricultural). The levels of treatment available, safeguards and controls and monitoring options are looked at in this report. The guidelines are useful in relation to only community wastewater plants and not household systems.
