The Rural Health Education Foundation has developed a series of four professional development programs surrounding the new NHMRC endorsed type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DN) clinical guidelines.
The programs are designed to assist clinicians, health services and policy makers with a focus on prevention, detection, and management of type 2 diabetes. They include live panel discussions with leading clinicians in the area of diabetes and are chaired by Dr Norman Swan. Case studies, filmed on location, showcase innovative approaches to best practice prevention, diagnosis and management of T2DM.
