This resource was produced by the North Australian Indigenous Land and Sea Management Alliance with financial support from the Australian Government's Caring for Country department.

The resource highlights the experiences of Indigenous people and rangers across north Australia as they undertake the management of dugong and turtles within their regions. It also includes stories from an international perspective, namely the Seri Indians of Mexico and the emerging relationships they have with Indigenous Australians.
