Resource package
The Face the Facts education resource aims to provide students and teachers with relevant, up-to-date facts about current social issues in Australia.
These two activity sheets form part of the resource package and provide easy to understand information about the experience of Indigenous Australians in regard to work, health, education, housing, criminal justice and the historical effects of government policies of separation. The worksheets offer students the opportunity to explore current research, including statistical data.
The information provided in the education package has been obtained from a range of sources including laws made by the Australian Parliament, government policies, academic research and statistics gathered by the Australian Bureau of Statistics, such as the 2006 Census data.
