Through young black eyes workshop kit (2007)

Description

The Secretariat of National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Child Care (SNAICC) has developed a 'Through Young Black Eyes Workshop Kit'. This kit has been developed to enable workshops about:

• Family violence and its effect on children
• Child abuse and neglect
• Child sexual abuse
• Creating a child-safe community

The workshop kit contains a facilitator's guide, activity and information sheets, short films and a CD version of all the information that can be adapted according to individual needs.
An updated 134 page handbook is also available and is full of information and resources for those working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in preventing and reducing family violence and child abuse and neglect.
