Feeling winyarn? (2005)

Description

This information brochure was produced for Aboriginal youth, by Aboriginal youth, with the help of mental health experts. 'Winyarn' is a Nyoongar word that describes the feelings associated with being unwell, bad, or feeling down. The brochure has been produced in an Aboriginal youth-friendly format and offers advice and information on drug and alcohol issues as well as mental health problems.

When to use this resource

This brochure is for young Aboriginal people who may be experiencing mental health problems and/or problems with alcohol or other drugs. The brochure could be passed on to young people by a teacher, health practitioner, or could be on display in places where young people like to visit.
