Description

The Aboriginal Health Workers (AHW) heart health manual was a resource developed for AHWs undertaking a certificate course in cardiovascular health. The manual included session plans, activities, overheads, case studies and background information appropriate for a variety of settings and target groups. The role of the AHW was explained and advice offered for skill development. The manual was developed by the WA Division of the National Heart Foundation in conjunction with the Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service in Perth.

The certificate course is no longer running and this manual is no longer available for distribution.
