Overview

Located within the structure of Centrecare Goldfields Agency, the Goldfields community drug service team provides a range of professional counselling, support, education and prevention programs for people concerned about their own or another person's alcohol or other drug use. Services are available in Kalgoorlie, Coolgardie, Kambalda, Norseman, Esperance, Menzies, Leonora, Laverton and Desert Lands areas, and include:

• counselling and group work for individuals and families including mandated clients
• consultation, liaison and support to professionals and other service providers
• education and provision of information
• support to local communities to allow more informed decision making and enable effective resolution of alcohol and other drug related harm issues.
