Indigenous leadership program

Overview

FaHCSIAs Indigenous leadership program aims to develop the leadership capacity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men, women and youth aged 18 years and over.

Since the program commenced in 2004, over 5,000 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have participated in the program.

The program facilitates activities that focus on vision and goal setting, personal reflections and working together with experienced leaders. The desired outcomes of the program for participants include confidence building, enhanced wellbeing and the development of new skills and experience.

Support and assistance by project officers and facilitators is offered throughout the program if required.
