Overview

This project is part of the Let's GET connected Gippsland East Aboriginal driver education project. It involves the recruitment and training of supervising drivers to mentor disadvantaged youth who without this opportunity would have limited hours of driving experience. The program covers the East Gippsland and Wellington shires and is delivered by Mission Australia. It aims to reduce youth driver fatalities by providing learner drivers, experience in different environments and situations.

Without mentors this program would not be successful, mentor training occurs throughout the year.
