Overview

This program fits under the umbrella of closing the gap in Indigenous disadvantage. The IAGDP seeks to increase both the number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples within the Australian public service sector and the number of employees with contract management skills. Based on a similar program implemented in 2002, positions within the IAGDP focus on the fields of:

• contract management;
• project management; and
• community capacity.
