Indigenous Australian Government Development Program (IAGDP)

 

Overview

The Indigenous Australian Government Development Program (IAGDP) is an entry-level employment and development program lasting 15 months that is available to Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who are interested in working in the Australian Public Service (APS).

IAGDP aims to improve employment opportunities, experiences and outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the APS. The program values and draws on the skills, capabilities and unique life experiences that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees can bring to the APS and are committed to developing a talented and versatile APS workforce.
