Child health nutrition education and support program

 

Overview

The Nutrition education and support program was based in Alice Springs, and provided education and support for mothers and carers of children aged 0-5 years with growth faltering, often due to complex issues.

The project team worked closely with clinical staff, the Alice Springs Hospital, the Paediatric Team and the Ngaanyatjarra Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Women's Council (NPYWC) nutrition workers. A range of activities were provided, including:
