Child health nutrition education and support program

 

Overview

The Nutrition education and support program is based in Alice Springs, and provides education and support for mothers and carers of children aged 0-5 years with growth faltering, often due to complex issues. The project team works closely with clinical staff, the Alice Springs Hospital, the Paediatric Team and the Ngaanyatjarra Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Women's Council (NPYWC) nutrition workers. A range of activities are provided, including:
