The Dolly Garinyi hostel provides supported, self-contained accommodation in a semi-bush environment for clients participating in the Volatile substance abuse and healthy families programs through the Council for Aboriginal Alcohol Program Services Inc. (CAAPS).
The hostel employs overnight and after hours support workers who help provide a safe, alcohol and other drug-free environment.
Clients residing in the hostel are encouraged to be self sufficient and reconnect with their traditional land in the purpose-build 'culture block' that provides a space of bushland showcasing native flora, fauna and bush tucker.
