In home practical support program

 

Overview

This program is the current version of the 1970/80's homemaker program. The aim of the program is to improve the ability of remote, regional and urban Indigenous people to maintain their homes by teaching them home living skills. The In home practical support program is tailored to the needs of individual communities and builds on the knowledge base participants already have. Home living skills delivered through the program include:

Funding for the program is sort through collaboration with other government and non-government agencies including TAFE and environmental health agencies.
