Rural Aboriginal Health Worker program

 

Overview

Where an Aboriginal Medical Service does not exist, the Rural Aboriginal Health Worker program has been implemented to provide primary health care delivery to the Aboriginal community. The program employs 12 Aboriginal Health Workers in the Riverland, Mount Gambier, Oodnadatta, Whyalla, Point Pearce, Raukkan, Murray Bridge and Meningie.
