Overview

Yorgum Aboriginal Family Counseling Service provides an environment to enhance the healing process for Aboriginal males and their families experiencing emotional distress. Acknowledging the effect of historical trauma, this program aims to strengthen the empowerment process both individually and collectively within the community. The positive parenting program includes male specific anger management and behavioural coaching from early ages and throughout the lifespan, as well as counseling and referral services.
