The Mobile assistance patrol (MAP), run by Port Augusta Substance Misuse Services, provides transportation for intoxicated people to a safe environment (depending on the circumstances of the client). MAP continuously patrols the city centre areas (including East Side, West Side, Stirling North and Davenport Community).

This service operates from 12:00 noon to 12:00 midnight except Sunday's, Good Friday and Christmas Day.
