Healthy eating advisory service

 

Overview

The Healthy together healthy eating advisory service (HEAS) provides information and support on healthy eating in early childhood services, schools, workplaces and hospital retail food outlets in Victoria.

In regards to schools specifically, the service is available to all Victorian primary and secondary schools to provide advice on healthy food and drinks, and to meet the requirements of the school canteens and other school food services policy.

Jointly funded by the State Government of Victoria and the Australian Government, and delivered by Nutrition Australia, HEAS provides:

The Healthy together healthy eating advisory service is part of the Healthy Together Victoria, which aims to improve people's health where they live, learn, work and play and is jointly funded by the Victorian and Australian Governments and delivered by Nutrition Australia Victorian Division.
