Indigenous dementia resources project

Overview

The Indigenous dementia resources project was created after a lack of Indigenous-specific dementia reources was identified. This project is funded by the NT and federal governments. This program provided resources to Alzheimer's Australia NT allowing them to develop a culturally appropriate resource kit which includes a DVD, flipchart and poster. These reources provide information on what dementia is, how to help someone who has dementia, and ways to minimise the risk of developing dementia.
