Better outcomes for lung disease (BOLD)

Overview

This holistic, self-management program was designed for people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and/or asthma. The aim of the program was to improve the general physical, social and emotional wellbeing of the participants. The program, which ran over 12 weeks, provided exercise and education sessions. To be eligible for the program individuals were required to get a doctors certificate and a spirometry. The program was free and transport was available if needed. This project was a joint partnership between Asthma Foundation NT, Bodyfit NT and Wisemind Psychology Pty Ltd.
