Overview

Nindilingarri Cultural Health Services in the Kimberely region of Western Australia is planning to introduce a physical activity program in the town of Fitzroy Valley. The aim of the program is to improve the level of participation in physical activity of residents. This is to be achieved by tripling the number of physical activity options in the Fitzroy Valley.

This aim is to be achieved by:

• investigating existing venues/activities and establishing partners
  
• investigating funding possibilities
  
• establishing a community based committee to review and support physical activity in the Fitzroy Valley.
