Healthy heart program

 

Overview

The Healthy heart program is an education and rehabilitation program for anyone with heart disease. People wishing to join the programs need to be referred by their doctor and bookings are essential. Family or significant others are encouraged to join in as well. The programs can involve the cardiac educator, nutrition educator, physiotherapist, pharmacist and behaviour modification counsellors.

Times and locations:

Darwin (Healthy Living NT Tiwi office) - Thursday mornings from 9am to 11am.
Palmerston (Multi Purpose Room, Palmerston Health Precinct) - Friday afternoons from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
Alice Springs - (Physiotherapy roomd, Alice Springs hospital) - Friday mornings from 7am to 8am.
